In Florida, parents looking to secure scholarships for their children's education have valuable resources in both the AAA Scholarship Foundation and Step Up For Students. These programs offer similar funding opportunities aimed at supporting families in need of financial assistance for education. Given the possibility of encountering a waiting list with either program, parents are encouraged to consider applying to both. This dual-application strategy can enhance the chances of obtaining financial support more swiftly, allowing families to choose the program that is able to offer assistance first. By leveraging these two avenues, parents can more effectively navigate the scholarship landscape in Florida, ensuring they maximize the opportunities available for their children's educational needs.
AAA offers two Florida scholarship programs for children with no eligible disabilities. The Florida Tax Credit (FTC) and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) are available to all Florida families. Parents now have more options for their child's K-12 education.
The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities covers private school tuition, home education, tutoring, and more. Students aged 3 to 22 with specific emotional, behavioral, or intellectual disabilities are eligible. Click the button below to learn more and to apply.
