A quality education shouldn't be out of reach. PTSEC accepts multiple Florida scholarship programs — your child's tuition may be fully covered.

PTSEC is an approved private school for Florida's major scholarship programs administered through two Scholarship Funding Organizations (SFOs): Step Up For Students and AAA Scholarship Foundation. Both SFOs offer all four scholarship types listed below. If your child qualifies, their tuition at PTSEC may be fully or partially covered.

Both Step Up For Students and AAA Scholarship Foundation offer all four of the following Florida scholarship programs. You may apply through either SFO.

FTC

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)

Eligibility

Available to eligible Florida K–12 students. All income levels are welcome; household income affects priority for award.

Award Amount

Award amount is based on the county where the student applies and their grade level.

FTC-PEP

FTC — Personalized Education Program (FTC-PEP)

Eligibility

Available to eligible Florida K–12 students not enrolled in a public school or Florida Home Education Program. All income levels are welcome; income affects priority.

Award Amount

Award amount is based on the county where the student applies and their grade level.

FES-EO

Family Empowerment Scholarship — Educational Options (FES-EO)

Eligibility

Available to eligible Florida K–12 students regardless of household income. Income affects priority for the award.

Award Amount

Award amount is based on the county where the student applies and their grade level.

FES-UA

Family Empowerment Scholarship — Unique Abilities (FES-UA)

Eligibility

Available to students with a specific documented diagnosis or special need. There is no income requirement for this scholarship.

Award Amount

Award amount is based on the student's county, grade level, and matrix number (determined by the nature and level of the student's unique abilities/special needs).

Step Up For Students (SUFS) is one of Florida's largest Scholarship Funding Organizations, empowering families to pursue the most appropriate learning options for their children. PTSEC is an approved Step Up For Students school.

AAA Scholarship Foundation

Scholarship Funding Organization

AAA Scholarship Foundation has invested more than 23 years advocating for under-served and academically disadvantaged students. They provide education choice scholarships for grades K–12 covering tuition and fees at private schools like PTSEC.

Simple Process

How to Use Your Scholarship at PTSEC

Apply for the Scholarship

Visit Step Up For Students (stepupforstudents.org) or AAA Scholarship Foundation (aaascholarships.org) and submit your application. We can help guide you through this step.

Get Approved & Receive Award ID

Once your scholarship is approved, you'll receive an award ID. Provide that ID to PTSEC as part of the enrollment process.

Enroll at PTSEC

Complete enrollment by accepting in EMA after we input your award ID. Any remaining balance can be covered through our flexible payment plans.
